One hundred and fifty years ago, one of the biggest military conflicts of the 19th century was held. Besides a big battle at Hradec Králové, two military skirmishes took place also in the surroundings of Liberec - at Dlouhý Most and Stráž n. N. The exhibition, which introduces besides a number of other exhibits also two themed large-format paintings from the collections of the Military History Institute in Prague, is devoted to these events and also the Prussian-Austrian War as a whole. JAN HÁSEK: MEDALS WITH THE MOTIF
OF THE BATTLE AT HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ

We present a medal by MgA. J. Hásek, the sculptor from Jablonec nad Nisou, for the 60th anniversary of the branch of the Czech Numismatic Company in Hradec Králové at the occasion of the Austro-Prussian War. It is on display in three varieties - silver, brass and copper also along with the original author´s drawings, plaster models and dies.
